We are looking for an intern to join our Buying of Invited Brands department full-time for a duration of at least 4 months. Next to its inhouse collection, Bellerose is offering every season a wide curated selection of Invited brands to complete its assortment. Think about sneakers, shoes, jewelry from selected brands worldwide.
The responsibilities of the Intern Buyer Invited Brands will include but are not limited to:
- Will work with the Junior Buyers as a support in the buying process of Invited brands
- Managing brand and product portfolio: pre analysis, brand selection & product assortment
- Attend buying appointments with suppliers
- Market and competition analysis and brand positioning vs competitors offline and online
- Search of new brands and their added value for Bellerose offline and online
- In close collaboration with (online) marketing strategy when looking for new partnerships, business driven collabs, traffic creating brands, ….
- Managing Open to Buy: in season analysis (monitoring bestsellers) and continuous browsing for swap/reorder opportunities (surveillance of B2B platforms of the Invited brands)
- Responsible for buying administration (prepare order templates, collecting and structuring all information, preparation lookbook guide for each collection & visualization info for the stores and E-commerce team), manage picture data base of collections
- Contribution to online learning platform for the store staff with Invited brands topics
Profile
- As an intern for the Invited Brands Department, you are enrolled in a Bachelor or Master of a commercial, marketing, communication of business management study.
- You are commercial minded, a real multitasker and good in planning and self-organisation
- You have analytical and economical insights but also creative and an autonomous decisionmaker
- You have a high interest and knowledge of (Fashion) Retail
- You have a basic knowledge of Excel, and PowerPoint
- You have a high degree of initiative, assertiveness and you love to communicate and work as part of a team
- You are result-oriented and have a helicopter view with good problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills are needed in min 2 languages (English & French or English & Dutch or Dutch & French. French is important within the job and company, English is important within our team.
